I think that the number 1 expected goal for a coach to have is to develop better players, but I do also believe that if you focus on developing better human beings a natural byproduct will get reflected in better performances on court.
I believe that the sporting experience of tennis can serve as a play ground for young tennis players to develop their character in such a way that they are ready to face the challenges they meet throughout life.
Therefore I put pride in spending time getting to know the human being behind the players that I’m working with & these are the most frequent questions that I’m asking myself:
What are their hopes & dreams?
Who do they want to be as tennis players & human beings?
What do they like the most when they are not on the tennis court?
