The way you compete is directly correlated to the way you train – your habits, your routines, your attitude, your ability to think & perform under pressure, even your punctuality arriving to practice sessions.
Every player that have either practiced or traveled with me know that I care a lot about always being on time. I believe that if you can’t even master a small basic task like being on time, it will become extremely difficult to master the more difficult tasks that you need too, in order to simply have a chance of eventually reaching your goals.
That’s why I always pay great attention to whether a player:
1) Shows up on time
2) Has brought water bottle, bands, extra racquets, grips & clothes
3) Pays equal attention to the non-racquet practice
